Mossad Tournament - Dates & Details

Mossad posted a couple more details about their tournament, which will launch Friday 15.02.08 (We will cover the entire event, possibly with audio commentary. stay tuned). First of all, the dates of the first round games:
ADHD vs aCFriday 15/2 - 17:00
C-YA vs TeamqpFriday 15/2 - 19:00
Ins! vs pFeSaturday 16/2 - 15:00
TFSH` vs EIP!Saturday 16/2 - 17:00
Map and scoring are as followed:
  • Maps will be played with a 30 minutes timer, dustbowl and gravelpit will be played as round based (each clan will attack and defend once)
  • Ingame score will not count torwards the final scoring system.
  • Score system is as follows: a win will grant 2 points, draw will grant 1 point to both clans and loss will grant 0 points.
Personally, I still find a problem here with Gravelpit and Dustbowl. If they are both picked for a single game, It will probably end in a tie using the current scoring method. We will have to wait and see how mossad handles that.
Updated 08.02.08 Well, this is it. The winning team is the one who took the least time to attack/most time to defend. Thanks to lukeAR

A. LOL :) "And mod the fat guy grabs the briefcase only to be decimated by popeyes sticky!"
could be great - live commentary!

B. There IS some kind of problem with the scoring on the ATT-DEF maps.... why is that? Those maps could end ONLY with one of two possibilities: WIN to FIRST attacking team or TIE.
The team that defends first and attacks second doesnt have a chance to receive a WIN point.

After talking with mod - i stand corrected. there is an attack timer which will define a time-limit for the attack, and the team winning is the team that got further into the map (or tied).

Oh, that explains it. Will add to the post.
In fact, I didn't think about live commentary which will come at a later stage if at all. My thoughts were aftermatch conclusions, editing the demos to a stage6 video and adding our own commentary.
All this is still just a thought though, nothing final

yeah i believe the scoring system is kinda stupid itself, because its so easy to tie even against a better team than you on maps like gp and db, but whatever.
